Dr. Kayala
Medical Director
Dr. Kayala is a graduate of Tufts University, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school she received her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine. Dr. Kayala enjoys partnering with pet parents to provide informed and compassionate care. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, dermatology, and behavior. Outside of work, Dr. Kayala enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, 1 dog and 3 cats.
Dr. Lussier
Veterinarian
Dr Lussier graduated from Kansas State University in 2011. She has worked as a small animal veterinarian and has special interests in dermatology and internal medicine. During her free time she enjoys traveling, wine tasting, and fishing. During her free time she is a Certified Wildlife Rehabber and loves working with Squirrels, Raccoons, and other small mammals. Dr Lussier has 1 dog, a rescue from Puerto Rico named “Ava,” a Calico cat named “Scrabble” and a guinea pig names “Poppy”.
Dr. Patricia Trzcinski
DVM
Pat Trzcinski, DVM, has been with CVC since early 2025. She is a graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinarian Medicine, who came to the Boston area to go to vet school and never left. She has a special interest in dentistry, and also in senior cats and dogs. She is currently living with a very bossy Siamese cat. Her free time is filled with rowing on the Charles and birding in as many countries as possible.
Rich
Practice Manager
Rich is a Certified Veterinary Business Leader (CVBL) who joined the Cambridge Veterinary Care team in 2024. With a strong passion for both people and practice operations, Rich is dedicated to supporting the team behind the scenes so they can provide the best possible care to patients and clients.
Outside of work, Rich’s life is happily full of animals—including a dog named Sofia, a cat named Jack, a fish tank, a flock of chickens, and more songbirds than can reasonably be counted. When not surrounded by animals, Rich enjoys crocheting, online gaming, and tackling creative LEGO builds, always appreciating a good mix of creativity, strategy, and fun.
Tanisha
Certified Veterinary Technician
Tanisha is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Cambridge Veterinary Care. She graduated from Massasoit Community College and previously worked with the team at Angell Medical Center for several years before joining CVC. She has a special interest in caring for a wide variety of animals, from large animals to exotics.
At home, Tanisha has a senior cat named James, a crested gecko named Kairo, and a betta fish named Talay. With a passion for medicine and client education, she looks forward to welcoming clients and their pets to the clinic.
Nicole
Veterinary Assistant
Nicole is a Veterinary Assistant at Cambridge Veterinary Care and the longest-tenured team member at the practice. Her years of dedication and experience make her a cornerstone of the clinic, and she is someone both clients and teammates consistently rely on. Nicole’s deep knowledge of the practice, steady presence, and commitment to patient care help ensure each day runs smoothly.
She is married with children and understands firsthand the important role pets play in a family. At home, Nicole cares for several pets of her own, further fueling her compassion for the animals she works with every day. Her loyalty, experience, and genuine care for both clients and patients make her an invaluable part of the CVC team.
Angela
Veterinary Assistant
Angela joined CVC as a Veterinary Assistant in November 2024. She’s currently a student as Wellesley College majoring in biological sciences. Angela grew up in northern Virginia with a bichon poodle named Alphie, and in her free time she loves painting, reading, and hiking. Her positive attitude is infectious and she is always excited to work with the patients and clients at CVC.
Meghan
Client Service Representative
Meghan is the Client Service Representative at CVC. She’s had a deep love for animals since birth, and once made an entire powerpoint presentation in childhood to convince her parents to get a family dog. She currently has a rabbit named Barnaby and a beloved family dog named Moxie. She graduated from Emerson College in 2018, and in her free time Meghan loves playing Dungeons & Dragons, cosplaying, and crocheting. She is so excited to meet your pet at the front desk and be the first friendly face you encounter at CVC!
